The original design features one of New Zealand’s most popular fishing areas, from the east coast of Northland, down past Auckland and the Hauraki Gulf, through to Coromandel and the Bay of Plenty.
Snapper 1 is part of the Snapper Zones series by Angle Tee, which also includes Snapper 2, Snapper 3, Snapper 7 and Snapper 8.
Where does the idea come from? In 1986, the Ministry for Primary Industries established snapper fishing zones around NZ, to help manage fish stocks.
